I’m Lauren Barker, a Beaufort, NC real estate agent with REMAX Ocean Properties and the founder of Low Tide Living NC. I proudly serve buyers and sellers in Beaufort, Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Newport, and surrounding Carteret County communities. My journey into real estate started with my own family’s move from Wake Forest to Beaufort. My husband and I knew we wanted to build our life on the coast, and that move gave me firsthand experience with how important it is to have the right real estate agent by your side. After going through a disappointing homebuying experience of my own, I knew I wanted to do things differently and help other buyers and sellers feel supported, informed, and protected throughout the process.

That experience continues to shape the way I serve my clients today. I believe buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial and personal decisions most people will make, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make the process feel less overwhelming and more empowering by giving my clients the knowledge, communication, and guidance they need every step of the way.
